Burning DVD from YouTube

Expand Post »
On my PowerBook G4, I would love to be able to take a YouTube video and burn a DVD from it. I'm a very amateur Mac user, so if someone could explain the process simply, I'd be forever grateful! Thanks! Peggy

Re: Burning DVD from YouTube

My favorite method is to do this:
  1. I use the Firefox extension VideoDownloader to download the flash video from YouTube.
  2. I use iSquint to convert the video from Flash video to a QuickTime-compatible format.
  3. Now I can burn the video to DVD. How to do that is completely up to you. You can use iDVD to do it, or alternatively, if you have Roxio Toast you can use that instead.
