Anyone know what .AL file type is. Please help

I need to open a .AL file on a pc. It is some type of animation program file. Does anyone know what I can download to convert it to PC readable format.

Are you sure that's not AI instead of AL?
If it is, it's an Adobe Illustrator file.
If it really IS AL, it's an ALAW format sound file - just don't ask me what that is supposed to be ;)
