Hello all,

I have a Compaq Armada M700, and it has a rather odd problem :)

When it is powered on, sometimes it will show a white screen, and make all the right noises. I know the white is the screen, as it works on an ext. screen and boots properly.

Recently, it has refused to boot more and more often, and will just sit with the caps, num and scroll lock lights on, and won't spin up the hard drive.

Has anyone got any ideas? Sometimes it does appear to charge the battery. The AC Adaptor isn't faulty.
