I purchased a new motherboard and is all i get is a blank screen.

I just purchased a Gigabyte GA-9IPE1000 series mother board for a socket 478 pentium 4. my computer before was not POSTing and i figured out it was the motherboard, but now my computer posts but i do not get any picture or BIOS screen options on my screen. I use a 26 inch lcd tv for my monitor and i have a nvidia geforce mx 440 video card. i just need to get this thing to work. advice would be deeply appreciated.
