Hi im trying to troubleshoot this laptop 4 a freind who knows nothing about laptops.

I think the laptop has been knocked or something.

Basically, The laptop won't turn on at all, with the Ac power cord pluged in or without. There is however a slight noise when i push the power button. ive tried wiggling the power cord around also incase there was a loose connection.

Any advice on what to do?
Any help would be appretiated.
