hi everybody,
i have windows xp with kaspersky AV. since we all know that there is no such thing as a perfect AV, i have decided to attempt to run other on-demand AV scans. i am relatively inexperienced, but i do know that it's a big mistake to have two AV programs running at the same time.
i need to be instructed, step by step, in detail, which way to disable my kaspersky, run the other scans, and remove the other scans programs and files. are there remnants of the other scans program files, temp files, common files, %temp% files, run command, or registry, that need to be removed when i am done with their scan, and what is the best way to reinstall the kaspersky? thanks for the advice,
