Running Ubuntu Server 9.01 on VPC 2007

Please can anyone help me with a tutorial or something to run ubuntu server 9.01 on Virtual PC 2007. Help will be highly appreciated!

Virtual PC doesn't support linux as far as I am aware. Perhaps you are better off looking into VMWare.

Linux on VPC is not supported. Get a proper virtualization software like vmware server/workstation or virtualbox.

an even better solution would be (if you have VT hardware) would be to urn linux with kvm as hypervisor, and place windows on top of that

Who says that VPC does not support Ubuntu virtualization?
It is an OS like any other OS available.
Take a look at http://arcanecode.com/2008/04/24/ins...rtual-pc-2007/ which is written for Ubuntu 8.04 which undoubtedly can be adapted to 9.01. It is full of illustrations to guide you through.
