How to install driver for ADSL modem

My ADSL modem comes only with a WinXP driver. It doesnt have Linux driver. So how do I get it working?

Don't use the usb port to hook it up?

If you use the ethernet card you shouldn't need a driver unless it has some PPOE software. then your SOL it seems.
