samba 3.0.22 on solaris 9

Hello all,
I have successfully installed samba 3.0.22 on my sol 9 e250 machine. I created my share but when i try to get to my share from my windows machine, it prompts me for my username and passwd, i enter it and it just comes back prompting me for my username and passwd agai,. Has anyone been thru this before. Please help. Attached is my smb.conf file
I need help as soon as possible. I think this site may be able to help:cry:

i am not a Solaris guru - i do use it at work.
i found out that running HTTP/FTP server is usually easier than configuring Samba. You can access the file system with any WEB browser
or you can try my project gomyplace

i had this problem yesterday.

try this
log in as root
cd usr/local/samba/lib
../bin/smbpasswd -a yourusername

it will prompt you for your password
