Solaris CPIO command

HI ,
I faced a problem when i extract the CPIO archive when i install oracle.
Could anyone gimme the exact cpio syntax to extract, It doesnt work for random options if i chose.
For example if i execute
cpio -i -V Solaris_64_81700_Disk1.cpio
its not responding...
Can neone helpme?

Hi folks,
I got the correct syntax and its working fine here.
cpio -icdmv < Solaris_64_81700_Disk1.cpio .
