How do I create/run my own programs in Solarius

I am using Java and was unsure where to put this so mods if I miscatagorized it my apologies.

Pretty much how do I run my own code the JVM on solarius? thanks!

is java installed?

java <class>

it shouldn't matter what environment you use, Java doesn't change all that much.
