how to setup vpn in fc3

hi everyone...
please any one of u explain me the steps invloved setting up a vpn connection to a remote server in fedora core 3...i need it for my project...
i tried in winxp, it is giving some security error...even i removed firewall from the system...

It's for Fedora Core 2 but it's still valid for FC 3.
