Hi When I am doing installation Red Hat Linux Enterprises Edtion 4 in Compaq PIII, RAM 1GB, Hdd 20GB. After creating the partion one error message come, after formating the partion. Message :- not have enough disk space in you disk. Installation procedure stoped here. give me some tips for its or what is the best size for file system in installation

Not sure about the RH E4. But the required partition size depends on the amount of software you select during installation time. The minimal installation requires about 700-800 MB, and the maximum can be installed comfortably inside a 10 GB partition. The partition size for my CentOS is about 5GB. I needed only about 4GB for the installation.

I guess a partition of 5-10GB should be enough for you.
