Samba - Defaulting to WORKGROUP

I have set up a Samba file server on linux that is hosting files for my windows dominant network. However, even though I've changed:

workgroup = WORKGROUP

workgroup = ExampleWRKGRP

Then I restarted Samba.
It still shows up in the windows network in the workgroup "WORKGROUP"

What am I doing wrong?
