I have one of my computers with only the Ubunto distro of the Linux OS. As the years have passed and it has become more "window-like" I have found it easier to use.
I'm far from being a Linux maven and the improvements have enabled me to enjoy it more. I hope that this new change will continue the trend of making the Linux OS more acceptable to the computer world at large.

Ubuntu has been improve and refine by leaps and bounce in term of user friendly and experience. I believe it is easier for new user to switch to Linux without much pain.
Have you read this?
Don't like Gnome myself, usually use XFCE or Enlightenment.
Will I guess today's release can consume lot of Graphics :)
