Hi I m having win xp and ubuntu 11.04 dual boot...
I had changed the ip config setting from 'detect automatically' to manual in win xp and i encountered a problem that it failed to connect to the network in ubuntu.. Later i tried editing the Autoeth0 settings by feeding the manual ip info..nd now it says connection established but still i couldnt access the net through firefox...
I tried to change the info in the conf file in etc/Networkmanager but it doesnt allow me.. it treats it as read only file.. Pl help me out...
