Upgrading From Ubuntu 10.10 to 11.04 [ Questions ]

Hello! I will be upgrading my Ubuntu 10.10 to 11.04 ( yes I am late, but still I want to upgrade). My Question: Will my Installed Applications remain wherever they are now after the up gradation? I will be using the ISO Images mounted on USB to upgrade ( there's an option: Upgrade from 10.10 to 11.04 or Do A Fresh Installation ). Please Reply Soon, I can't wait to Upgrade!

If you choose to upgrade, you'll lose some apps that was not supported with 11.04 but instead it'll install new apps that can work with new upgraded version.

If you choose fresh install, you'll get whole new apps ready up for you.

But I heard a lot of complains when users switch to 11.04 but it's your decision.

There is Errors in Ubuntu 11.04.
One is that some times if we click on shut down it might LOG OUT instead of SHUT DOWN. In UBUNTU 11.04 we can't install GDM themes..

So check it out... before u install it.
