Hi everyone. I have about 10 episodes of Lost I converted from my TIVO. Most of them are about 400-600 MB. I've noticed that there are many television episodes podded from the Internet that range about 170 MB, and the video quality of these episodes is pretty good.
I've tried several different conversion programs and several codecs to try to compress my episodes of lost from the 400-500 MB range down to the 170 MB range. I haven't had ANY success. I must be doing something wrong!!!! After I recode the video file, they’re always closer to 700 MB.
I’ve been using the MPEG4 video compression.
Could someone tell me what program I should purchase for this and/or what codecs and settings to use to accomplish my goal?
