gmail,hotmail,youtube,wikipedia,bbc not loading with any browsers

i am having a problem with my pc.. lately my browsers stopped loading any pages from gmail,hotmail,wikipedia,youtubeand bbc. i tried with different browsers but all the same. i am able to open gmail if i use the basic html view. my pc config is
amd athlon x2 dual corre 2.4ghz
msi cf am2+ motherboard
3 gb memory
500gb hdd
windows vista ultimate with all latest updates
kaspersky internet security 8

please help me solve this issue as i am now unable to view my mails. yur help will be greatly appreciated.

I have a sneaky suspicion that Kasperski may be involved somewhere.
We use it at work and it causes no end of problems.
Try disabling it and see if you can then load up the pages in question.
