i am having a hard time installing windows 98se after reformating. I need help.

Clasher, you've got to tell us what kind of errors, or problems you get when you try to install 98????

Did you format the hard drive with FAT16 or FAT32? Because if you format it with NTFS you can't install Win98.

Did you make the Hard Drive bootable? When you boot do you come to a C: prompt? If not then you just have to add the DOS boot files to your drive.

Yes, it would be helpful to know what kind of problems you're having.
