Hi!!

Just new to this website and there is lots of very useful information. It is amazing how much you can learn from this website. Its great!

I am having some problems with my hotmail, after i put my address and password and hit go, it goes into a white page. I dont know why, please help!

I have tried clearing out myTemporary Internet Files and cookies. Then tried again and nothing. Then I tried refreshing the page, but I get a message saying it cant be refreshed without sending the informatio...

I have also tried to select the security Tab and highlight the internet section. Then hit the default button but cant, because it doesnt let me set it to default, Cant click on it. Any ideas?

Hi, first of thanks for this site, I am new and you are great and if I'm not posting in the right place please forgive me. I am having the same problem, I can't access hotmail from MSN explorer or Internet Explorer or outlook. I did everyrthing mentioned in this thread, clearing history etc. Anyway I downloaded another web browser OPERA yesterday and hotmail works fine although it hasn't solved the problem. Also i did hijack this today and this is what came up :

I'm new @ this community & I know that the thread is very old..., but I just want to share something that I fixed easily by following simple changes in Internet Options/Advance settings. After installing XP Pro in my computer, it developed problems accessing my hotmail. From denying me to log-on to giving me problems about " cannot display DNS settings, and "please try again later..." so frustrating!!! I tried this followings; "START-RUN-REGSVR32 SOFTPUB.DLL" / "netsh winsock reset" / "netsh winsock reset catalog" but DID NOT work for me!!!

Guess where I found the solution..., when I read the whole thing(suggestion) right after I typed my psw and showed the" Page cannot be Displayed" the solution came there!!! read below it and it would say to make sure that you have checks in the boxes of Use SSL 2.2, Use SSL3.0 which I have, but the thing is my Use TLS 1.0 have not been selected? I did select it and there you go..., I could finally log on, access my hotmails & passport :) Gosh! simple solution and yet, no one even tried it yet. :idea: IMO? :rolleyes:
