.NET Framework 1.1 Installation issues

Hello,

I'm having quite a problem with an installation.I'm trying to install NBA 2K10,which requires .NET Framework 1.1.Sadly,After the setup finishes (or so it seems) the "RegSvcs.exe" generates an exception that it can't handle,and the process id is always different.I tried reinstalling the framework via safe mode,and trying more setups for it,but no luck.My PC specs are:
CPU:Intel Pentium 4 3.00 GHz
OS:Microsoft XP Pro (5.1, Build 2600)
GPU: Nvidia EN8600GT
Motherboard: P5PL2

I should mention that I have 2.0,3.0 and 3.5 installed correctly (.NET)

Sadly no,I says that:
"SL48.tmp has encoutered a problem a needs to close."
Any suggestions?
