Can I copy contents of (Folder)(1) into (Folder) and (Folder)(2)into (Folder)..etc before deleting then (Folder)(1) , (Folder(2)...etc. I do not need nor have the older Restore Points so, I will not ever be able to use them.

Hello,
You should be able to copy the contents from the folders into the new folder. However if you have files of the same type and name you will need to decide which file you want.
You could drag the two old folders into the new folder. Then copy the contents of the old folders, to the new folder, don't copy duplicate files. Any duplicate files would be left in their respective directories and you can rename and then copy them.
