i am using firefox browser..and my browser do not support any indian language..i want to write email in punjabi...also in facebook or orkut..but my browser not supporting this language..plz guide me wht can i do..i found frm internet dat if i downloaded lipikar then i will be able to write..bt i could achive dat...

I think to write emails and in facebook etc, it's the editor which must support this language, and not the browser, like I've seen an icon to change to indian language in Gmail's email editor

However, just in case, you could try the addons for Firefox on this link: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/extensions/language-support/

A more specific addon could be: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/google-transliteration-formerl/

i installed addone as ur specified..but it is not working ..i dnt knw why ... actually i want to update my fb profile using punjabi lang.. even through transliteration i am not able to write in desired language...plz help me out

Well may be you could use a virtual keyboard in this case to type, try google up "multilingual virtual keyboard" or something similar.
But yet again, whether the sites editor, like on fb or others, will accept the texts is another issue which you may need to test for.
