I did a clean install on my OS. I backed up my microsoft plus file. Now I reintalled it but nothing will work. end user agreement or something.
The program was installed on my dell when i bought it. Why is it not working, I backed up the whole thing from c/programs?

got dell to send a new cd, couldn't believe it. They are also sending a new microsoft works 2005 since the 2003 version they sent with the purchase didn't have a key for the word program.
I never thought they would come through like that, no questions or money. I did it through the new "dell chat" they have, much better and easier than the phone.

Just thought I'd share my solution.
