I've searched some other forums for help on installing Paintshop Pro X4 which I purchased as a download from Amazon.com. Probably my first mistake. It appears to install correctly however when I launch it it says that the copy is either broken or illegally modified and I need to reinstall it. I made sure the little spyware program that installs as a service when the main program installs as per their tech support but all of that checks out. I even disabled my anti-virus software to make sure that the spyware program is allowed to access the internet. I also tried hacking the spyware dll files and the HOSTS.ini file to trick into thinking it was licensed but that didn't work either.
