Ok basically whats happening is, windows messenger and msn live 8 are singing in with the same net passwort at the same time and it's being allowed.
So if i'm logged in on windows messenger whilst on msn live 8, it will show me online but the contact list on msn live doesnt update but windows messenger does.
If i log out of windows messenger, i stay logged in on msn live 8 but i appear offline to the people on my contact list. I can talk to them but they have to wait for me to talk to them so they can reply.
If anyone can hekp me with this i'd be very greatful.
