Neither the USB mouse nor the mouse pad will work on any part of the Task bar. It means I can't select any windows from the task bar or select the Start Button, but I can select the Start Button by using the Microsoft Flag key on the keyboard, then the mouse can select programs, but again not the Start Button. The right button won't work on the Task Bar either.
