hello all... this thread is related to this one; http://www.daniweb.com/techtalkforums/showthread.php?t=1547 but the possible solutions explained there were a bit confusing to me. a few days ago i formatted my hard disk and reinstalled windows xp. i have a packard bell pc imedia 9415, but i dont think the specifications of my pc will matter much. i think the problem has to do with my router, a corega-bar-sd. im connected through cable internet, i use a static ip address for portforwarding. everything works fine, i can access all webpages, including hotmail. the only thing i can not access is my yahoo mailbox. i can get to the inlogpage of mail.yahoo.com but when i enter my username and pasword it will keep saying problem loading page, the connection has timed out.
i hope somebody can help me, and if you have a solution please explain to me what i have to do step by step... :) i tried to figure out the PPPoE thingy but i have no clue how to do this...
help!
