windows media player wont ripp cds

WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER WILL NOT RIP MUSIC FROM CD IT WILL BURN CDS THIS IS WHAT THE MESSAGE SAYS-- WINDOWS MDEIA PLAYER HAS ENCOUNTERED AN UNKNOWN ERROR THIS CAN OCCUR WHEN ANOTHER PROGRAM OR OPERATEING SYTEM COMPENENT IN COUNTERS A PROBLEM I HAVE SEARCHED IN MEDIA 10 HELP NOTHING they tryed upgrade to media 11 but wont go iam at my witts end trying figure this out for them any soulitions?? this is my last resort it dont make sense to burn cds but not ripp them thanks:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

Ok, first don't caps everything, second, stop the smiley faces.
i would suggest to reinstall media player to see if the problem persists.
