Just installed IE7 on my main computer. I have Orange Livebox on it and my netowrk is set up on it. Our 2nd computer that connects wirelessy is totally fine.

The main problems are as follows;

  • Can't access the internet
  • Cant restore as it doesn't work anymore, I've tried various different restore points but they all fail.
  • I'm unable to install any programs, if I double cllcik an exe file, the computer just beeps.
  • If I try to uninstall IE7 the computer shuts down.

Any ideas? Was thinking of xp repair, but was hoping there was something much simpler.
