All my desktop icons are linked. If you drag one, they all go.
Main problem is when an icon is clicked, the Recycle Bin folder opens.
Really stumped on this. Any help appreciated. Thanks.

Dude, Thanks for the reply.
Yes, tried the Restore to no avail.
After two days, swapping RAM, checking software...
Bingo!
Swapped keyboards and that was it!
Never thought a keyboard could be the culprit.
