Question about transfering office 2003 from 1 computer to another

I have Microsoft Office 2003 Professional Edition installed on my old computer.

If I try to load it on my new computer, I can enter the product key and it does install it. When I try to use the programs it says that I have to register it, which I completly understand. If I do uninstall it off of my old computer will it let me register it to the new computer? Please help. Thanks.

if it gives you an error on activation or on registering, they will usually give you the option to call someone. I have done this before. Just tell them you bought a new computer and are installing it there.
