Internet Problems, im connected but i cant access web pages.

Hi, i need some help

I have have windows 2000 loaded with both firefox and IE. Both of these will not load any web pages exept for mysoace ( doesnt load fully) and google (doesnt load any of the links though). All over pages it doesnt load Ebay, petergabriel.com play.com hotmail.com the list goes on. i know that my internet connection is working though as on my mums laptop that im currently using everything works fine, also on my pc the one that osnt loading the web pages, i can go on msn fine.

Download LSPfix from here
On the opening screen, click the "I know what I'm doing" checkbox, then click Finish.

Download the HostsXpert.
Run it and press "Restore Original Hosts" and press "OK". Exit Program.
Note that if you have a custom host file, this will remove it.

Download HijackThis from here. Once downloaded, double click on the file & it will install into it's own, permanent folder.
Start HJT & press the "Do a system scan and save a log file" button. When the scan is finished a window will pop up giving you the option of where to save it. Save it to desktop where it is easy to access. Open the log file and copy the entire contents of the file & paste it into the body of your post. DO NOT FIX ANYTHING YET. Most of what is there is necessary for the running of your system.

You never followed the link I gave you for hijackthis, hence you have installed the Beta version. Please get rid of that one and download the correct version.

I am having the same problem whenever I run Bittorrent 6.0, my net access from IE and Firefox stop. Only from my PC, other PC in the network still work fine!
