SSDK02.exe is related to the netsky/zlob worm

rename hijhackthis to something else and run the log scan again. Some nasty worms and viruses disguise tjemselves from known removal tools like it depending on the name of the .exe

Please keep in mind that I am a computer moron :-) and have absolutely no idea what any of this stuff means....hopefully I can follow your directions properly....

Anyhow, I renamed 'hijackthis' to 'wendy' by right clicking on the icon (from the start menu->programs->hijackthis) and choosing the re-name option (assuming that is the correct way to rename it), and re-ran...this is what is says now:

after looking at this thing again....in the hijackthis box (where I can check things)...I do see the ssdk02.exe file in there....do i check that off and hit "fix it"?? or is there more to it than that?

that stops it loading at startup

Once you do that, restart your computer, update your antivirus and antispyware programs(what do you have?) and run full scans. To remove the disabled worm (and anything else nasty that may be hiding). I'm away from my home PC, so my further help will come later.

If you are going to google stuff, you should read the actual information in each post/site and not go on hte headings in the google search page info. You have Yahoo stuff, SSDK02.exe is actually a piece of Norton software that provides a security status to the Yahoo processes.
If you want to test this, try uninstalling Yahoo and see where that YOP\SSDK02.exe goes.
