-copy it to a new FOLDER placed either alongside your program files or on your desktop and then... rename hijackthis .exe to imabunny.exe
-in that folder start HijackThis by dclicking the .exe; now close ALL other applications and any open windows including the explorer window containing HijackThis.
-click the Scan and Save a Logfile button. Post the log here.
Problem with desktop icons
I believe it is a virus, but when I click on a few icons on my desktop, as well from the start menu, They do not lead to anything. A few of the programs include ITunes, Word, and many others. I have tried SDfix but the Runthis.bat will not work in safemode as it loads quickly and closes within a second. PLease help
I appreciate the help but so far, I completed the first step in removing temp files but Panda does not support vista yet. I will do the other stuff but i have scanned with mccaffe and spybot so hopefully i can finish it I then could not actually complete the doug knox because of some error in the c: or something of that nature but i did the hijackthis and got this
