Re: I think I'm hijacked... (moved from windows nt/wk/xp/w003)

I reloaded AOL last night and it worked fine. But now it is not allowing the logon. It goes through checking the password and then kicks me off and tries to restart, over and over.

Any ideas?

Regards,
Bill

You could try clearing the cookies out and see if that helps. Other than that, I'm not sure.

Re: I think I'm hijacked... (moved from windows nt/wk/xp/w003)

I reloaded Windows again and it seems to working fine. Thanks for all your help. I'll be back on the forum if anything else happens.

One other question, when Windows update performs and update it stores a folder in the Windows directoray that looks something like $NtUnistallK2368742$. What are these there for after the update have been performed, and can they be deleted. Seems there's something like 161 folders like this in the Windows directory and 1.1Gig of memory used.

Any ideas?
