Antivirus 2009 Browser Hijack - HijackThis Log

Hello one of the computers on our corporate network is infected with Antivirus 2009. I scanned is with Spybot 1.4 as I couldn't get the update do to it. I was finally able to install it and everything seemed fine. This was about 30 min to an hr ago. But now it appears Antivirus 2009 is back. I'm currently running Spybot version 1.6 I believe is the latest one, please correct me on the number if I am wrong. But I do know it is the latest as I was I downloaded it today.

I also ran HiJackThis so I can have some one here analyze the log. I am heading out of our IT Office but I will be in touch with my supervisor. So please respond and I will forward information and instructions them.

Download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware (http://www.majorgeeks.com/Malwarebyt...are_d5756.html) to your desktop.

* Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
* At the end, be sure to checkmark the Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
* If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
* Once the program has loaded, select Perform full scan, then click Scan.
* When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
* Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
* When completed, a log will open in Notepad.
* Post the log back here.

Make sure that you restart the computer.

To get this one out is simple this is a adware (advertisement to trick you into buying there software) go to Start - Run type MSCONFIG then click the startup tab uncheck the Antivirus 2009 so it doesn't start at bootup. Do a search on you hard drive for Antivirus 2009 and then delete it.

The removing from the MSCONFIG did not work. My supervisor said she had tried this after I left and according to the employee it still appeared.

After they disabled in MsConfig did they right click on my computer and do a search for AntiVirus 2009, Then deleting the entries?

Actually I forgot to ask them if they did.

However the problem is gone now. I asked the employee if they were having issues again about 20 minutes ago and they said that they are no longer getting notifications, page redirects, or false notifications of being on a bad site. Thanks!
