Hi all,
I recently downloaded the free Avast anti-virus software for my computes.
Seems good so far. but every time it updates itself, a voice and beep occur "ANTI VIRUS SOFTWARE UPDATED!" Seeing as how I have my speakers on full blast nearly all the time, it scares the life out of me.
Anyway to mute that?

Yep. Right click on the Avast icon in the tray and select 'Program Settings.' Go to 'Sounds' and check the box to Disable Avast sounds. Ok out.
