Ok ive done that and its looking alot better. Stopped getting pop-ups, no virus alert in taskbar, i can see all my icons and computer seems to be running faster again. However i cant seem to find the log file that it produced, one did come up when it finished removing the files but i cant find the 'logs' file in the malwarebytes program folder but it seems to have worked anyway. I have run Hijackthis tho so heres the log:
