Re: go.google redirect issue

Hi crunchie. I was able to download SUPERAntiSpyware and manually update it. However, I cannot seem to enter Safe Mode. After rebooting and selecting Safe Mode, I get the following blue screen message:

"A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.

The video driver failed to initialize

If this is the first [...]"

Think I should just follow the rest of your instructions without being in Safe Mode?

Re: go.google redirect issue

Hi Dragewood, have been away for a few days but wonder, when you get this blue screen with this message
Quote ...
"A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.

The video driver failed to initialize
Do you also get an error code? It would read something like
***STOP: 0x0000000A (0x13F4100, 0x00000002, 0x0000001, 0x804FEB8F)

Re: go.google redirect issue

Here's the full message:

"A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.

The video driver failed to initialize

If this is the first time you've seen this stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps:

Check to make sure any new hardware or software is properly installed.
If this is a new installation, ask your hardware or software manufacturer for any windows updates you might need.

If problems continue disable or remove any newly installed hardware or software. Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing. If you need to use safe mode to remove or disable components, restart your computer, press F8 to select advanced start up options and then select Safe Mode.

Technical information:

*** Stop: 0x000000B4 (0x872B6188, 0x871AB000, 0x871AA000, 0x00050000)

Beginning dump of physical memory.
Physical memory dump complete.
Contact your system administrator or technical support group for further assistance."
