Re: Think I have VX2 and others...Logs posted

1st up, do not stress. You do not have the VX2 infection . What did you delete with killbox? Hopefully they were not system files. As the warning in dllcompare says, not everything there means you are infected!

Scan with hijackthis and tick the boxes next to all the following entries, then close all browser and explorer windows, and hit the "Fix checked" button.

Reboot and delete the C:\Program Files\Viewpoint\Viewpoint Manager<----folder.

Ok fixed those thing's you mentioned with Hijack this and deleted viewpoint. As for the things I deleted with killbox is was just the 5 thing's that came up in the dll compare log and everything seems to be running fine. I did not delete the partypoker one because that's what I do for a living

Party poker is basically the largest online poker room, where most people play texas hold em for money anywhere from 20-200$ No limit or 1/2$-30/60$ limit hold em. There's usually at least 50,000 people on their at any given time of any given day.

CTHELPER.EXE should probably be disabled; quote from sysinfo:

CTHELPER is a background task that is a plug-in manager for Creative drivers. The theory is that 3rd party manufacturers can use the CTHELPER plug-in interface to produce drivers, add-on features, and fixes that will integrate with a tighter fit with Creative’s sound drivers and utilities. Given its purpose CTHELPER would normally be classified as a "leave alone" background task. It also allows Creative speaker setup to be synchronized with Windows Control Panel speaker setting. Without it running that check box in Creative speaker setting is not functional (settings are not in sync). Unfortunately there are often problems with CTHELPER, most notably that it can use 100% of CPU time so it's best left disabled unless you need it.

You're playing poker on your "g/f's mom's computer"?
