Virus that has hijacked the internet--please help!

First of all
Disable Spybot's TeaTimer as it can interfere with fixes attempted.

* Run Spybot-S&D in Advanced Mode
* If it is not already set to do this, go to the Mode menu
select
Advanced Mode
* On the left hand side, click on Tools
* Then click on the Resident icon in the list
* Uncheck
Resident TeaTimer
and OK any prompts.
* Restart your computer

Next do the following, you will probably have to download to another computer and load then either on a CD or Flash drive and take it to the infected computer OR if you can, try to Boot to Safe mode with Networking and try it with the infected computer. It is possible that the infection won't load in safe mode.
Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware (MBA-M) to your Desktop.

* DoubleClick mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install MBA-M.
* Be sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
* If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
* Once the program has loaded, select Perform full scan, then click Scan.
* When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
* Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
* When MBA-M finishes, Notepad will open with the log. Please save it where you can find it easily. The log can also be opened by going to Start > All Programs > Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware > Logs > log-date.txt.

REBOOT the Computer.

Then run HJT again and save the log. Post back here with both logs.

I ran spybot again as you directed. Everytime I run it, it finds a program called AdDestination. I remove it and it shows up each time again. I also downloaded an installed the Maleware program (I could not get an internet connection in Safe Mode with Networking). The log is below. I also ran hijackthis again and the log is at the end. http://www.gt500.org/malwarebytes/database.jsp go to that link and download the latest (manual) database version. Install it and run MBA-M again.
Remove what it finds, reboot and rescan with hijackthis.
Post both logs again.

Download LSPfix from here
On the opening screen, click the "I know what I'm doing" checkbox. Check all instances of "ntdll64.dll" (and nothing else), and move them to the "Remove" pane. Then click Finish.

Go to Start > Control Panel double-click on the Software icon > add/remove programs.
Search in the list for all previous installed versions of Java. (J2SE Runtime Environment.... )
Select it and click Remove.
Then Download and install the newest version from here:
http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp

I ran LSPfix and removed and replaced the Java application. I ran HJT and removed the results as requested. Then restarted and ran HJT again. Still no connection to the internet (I'm downloading everything onto my laptop then using a jump drive to transfer it to the desktop that isn't working).

Phew! It worked. After rebooting, I was able to connect to the internet by going into my network connections and connecting manually (the computer used to auto connect to the internet). There is still something that is hiding my desktop though--when I boot the computer, it has the background picture I've selected, then during the loading process, the desktop background goes to black with a thin white line all around the edges. Any idea of what this is? Below is the most recent HJT log.

Right click on the desktop and go into properties. Desktop Tab then Customise desktop.
Web Tab and then delete any entries there other than "My Current Home Page."
Apply the settings and OK out.
See if you can set a desktop background now.
