Hi and welcome to Daniweb :).

Download The ABI remover (Better Internet Remover)

Download the Remover to your desktop. Unzip the file to your desktop. Start the ABIRemover.exe, press install, wait (explorer
window will disapear). Click finish when done.

Run HiJackThis then:

1. Click "Open the Misc Tools Section"
2. Click "Open Process manager"

Next, while holding down the CTRL key, locate (if present) and click on (highlight) each of the following:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\uuhluj.exe

Now double-check and make sure that only those item(s) above are highlighted, then click "Kill process". Now, click "Refresh", check again, and repeat this step if any remain.

So here's the log, a couple of the files you told me to delete were not present:

O20 - Winlogon Notify: Group Policy - C:\WINDOWS\system32\d80m0id1e80.dll

and

I'm also still getting pop ups and a slew of web pages auto loading as well as ewido fiding a few viruses.

Download L2mfix from one of these two locations:

Save the file to your desktop and double click l2mfix.exe. Click the Install button to extract the files and follow the prompts, then open the newly added l2mfix folder on your desktop. Double click l2mfix.bat and select option #1 for Run Find Log by typing 1 and then pressing enter. This will scan your computer and it may appear nothing is happening, then, after a minute or 2, notepad will open with a log. Copy the contents of that log and paste it into this thread.

IMPORTANT: Do NOT run option #2 OR any other files in the l2mfix folder until you are asked to do so!

Close any programs you have open since this step requires a reboot.

From the l2mfix folder on your desktop, double click l2mfix.bat and select option #2 for Run Fix by typing 2 and then pressing enter, then press any key to reboot your computer. After a reboot, your desktop and icons will appear, then disappear (this is normal). L2mfix will continue to scan your computer and when it's finished, notepad will open with a log. Copy the contents of that log and paste it back into this thread, along with a new hijackthis log.

IMPORTANT: Do NOT run any other files in the l2mfix folder until you are asked to do so!

Please go here and download Find_qoologic.zip by baskar1234. Unzip the folder and go to the new qoologic folder and doubleclick on qoologic.bat to run it. It will take a few minutes to scan your drive so be patient. When it has finished, open My Computer, doubleclick on C: and copy and paste the contents of the below logs in this thread.

Download rkfiles.zip

Unzip the contents to a permanent folder.

Reboot in Safe mode.

Doubleclick rkfiles.bat
It will scan for a while, so please be patient.

Post the contents of C:\log.txt in your next reply.

1. The desktop icons and at least some of the pop-ups are due to the CasinoClient infection identified in this log entry:

2. This log entry is a right pain to remove:

Please do the following:

A) Open Windows Notepad and copy the following bolded text into the Notepad file:

REGEDIT4

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run]
"KavSvc"=-

In Notepad click FILE->SAVE AS
!! IMPORTANT: Change the "Save as Type" to All Files.
Name the file fix.reg

Save this file on the desktop, but don't run it yet.

B) Boot into Safe Mode, double click on fix.reg. You will get a message asking if you want to add or merge to the Registry; choose to do so.

C) While still in Safe Mode, open Windows Explorer, and in the Folder Options->View settings under the Tools menu, select "show hidden files and folders", and uncheck "Hide protected operating system files" and "Hide extentions for known file types".

Search for C:\WINDOWS\system32\uuhluj.exe and delete the file if you find it.

D) Empty your Recycle Bin and reboot normally.

3. Run HJT again and post the new log.
