Are you using a 568-point font in Notepad or something??

Do you have similar, repeating entries that are filling up the the log? If so, please just post a couple of samples of those entries, and then separately post the rest of the log.

Smitfraud.c How I loathe thee! Here are directions that I have used that have been somewhat successful in removing this annoying program(pest)

In normal(non-safe) mode:

Download and extract the zip file to a location that you will be able to easily find them. SmitfraudFix can be found here: http://siri.urz.free.fr/Fix/SmitfraudFix.zip

Download and install crap cleaner. http://ccleaner.com/

Turn system restore off. If you need directions, you can find them here: http://armentpau.com/archives/basic-...system-restore

Reboot your computer into safe mode with networking . Inside of safe mode with networking, do the following.

1) Run Crap Cleaner. This will erase all the temporary files floating around your system

2) Run Ewido. Go to Ewido.net and run the online scan. If you are a Mozilla Firefox user(and why not?) you will be asked to download a small portable scanner. Download and run the file.

3) Navigate to where smitfraudfix is located and run the file SmitfraudFix.cmd and follow the on screen instructions.

Another tool to try is to download http://noahdfear.geekstogo.com/ and then unzip it and run the smitfraud.bat(can't remember the exact file name off the top of my head) in safe mode with networking. That utility has also done quite a bit to help.

Also, don't forget to turn your system restore back on(following the same directions, but clearning the check mark) after your computer is running again.
