Re: Auroura Help,Please

Hi Zooma

Sorry to hear that

Can you not connect to any websites at all?

Have you tried a different browser?

Have you tried doing a system restore to a point before you lost the connection?

Re: Auroura Help,Please

AOL stopped working a while ago, internet explorer won't connect to anything either now. I'm not sure if its worth trying to fix it to be honest. Even if I get Aurora off there is alot more, including a trojen I can't delete. There isn't anything on it thats important, it was only bought in December. I was going to just fromat it with the restore disk that came with it. The only thing I'm bothered about it that the router for 2 wireless computers runs of that. When I first got it there was a lot of hassle getting that set up properly...

Re: Auroura Help,Please

It sounds to me like a format and reinstall is your best option at this point, it will probably be quicker and easier then trying to fix whatever you have.

Before you begin, have a look at these threads:

Also before you begin, write down the settings for your wireless router; hopefully that will help setting it up again. To get these settings, go to Start, Run, and type in cmd, click OK; at the command prompt, type in ipconfig /all and hit Enter. That should be most of what you will need.
