hjt log with problem

my computer, recently, has been acting quite odd...when i start windows, it takes a conciderable amount of time and when the windows tone starts, it cackles. Once thats all over with, my programs start slow, and when i try to run widows media and open, lets say, a browser, the music slows down and distorts until the program is actually running. (then theres problems with my internet but thats just the crappy campus internet....nothing i can do there) Should i do the hijack this thing and send it in, because ive scaned for viruses, and got nothing, scaned for adware and got nothing, and scaned for spyware, deleted that, and it still acks the same way....any help would be mucho appricated...

I don't know if it will help with your problem, but there are a few things that should be fixed there.

Go to Add/Remove Programs in your Control Panel and remove Viewpoint (or Viewpoint Manager, ViewMgr, or something similar).

Scan with HijackThis and have it fix the following entries:

Close any open windows, other then HijackThis, and hit Fix checked.

Go to C:\Program Files, and delete the Viewpoint folder.

Empty your Recycle Bin, reboot, close any open browser windows, scan with HJT, and post a new log; let us know if there's any improvement.

i did a system restore last night, and everything works fine now....ill still go through and take out all that stuff though....thanks
