Internet Explorer won't stop opening!

Hi forum,

Now and then (every 10-15mins) internet explorer will open itself up and it will be on a completely random page. It may even open two at a time! I have tried StopZilla and other spyware / malware removal propgrams but none seem to be doing the trick! it still happens! Any solutions to this very irritating issue??
