Hello. My computer is running too slow and I don't know why. I ran all of my virus scan programs, cleaned the registry, and even emptied out my temp and prefetch folders, but I don't know what the problem is.

My computer runs all right when I only using one application at a time, but whenever I have to multitask, it slows down big time.

Oh yeah, for some reason, I am also having trouble with my windows automatic updates. I can't update my PC because I keep on getting an error message that reads: "Files required to use Microsoft Update are no longer registered or installed on your computer. To continue: A. Register or reinstall the files for me now (Recommended) or B. Let me read about more steps that might be required to solve the problem".

Whenever I choose option A, It shows a 100% complete registration, but I still can not access the windows update, because the error message just reappears. Option B doesn't help either. Any suggestions? Below is my HijackThis log.
