First update your virus definitions then do a virus scan. If it still comes up then get the programs Ad-Aware and Spybot Search and Destroy (google them or off of download.com). Run them and scan your computer.

I had this problem a while back and this fixed it. I think you consider changing to firefox if you have not already done so. Other than memory leaks, I have had no problems with it.

Well this definitely appears to be a spyware problem. Begin by downloading HJT, a diagnostic program. Directions for downloading can be found here:

After downloading, don't do any of it yourself, just scan and post a log. Be sure to NOT check anything.
